Our original recipe granola packs a serious punch in the way of healthy fats and protein from a delicious combination of nuts (sliced almonds, cashews, pecans), seeds (pumpkin, sunflower, golden flax) and coconut chips slow-roasted with a slightly sweet sauce. It’s naturally sweetened with coconut nectar – which has a low glycemic impact - and infused with a classic spice trio of cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice, as well as hint of cayenne for a little kick. Dried cranberries are added for a pop of sweetness and a little chewiness.
You can eat this granola as is, atop to your favorite yogurt, as a hot or cold cereal with milk, and use it in baking by adding to your favorite cookie or muffin recipes. It also makes a great addition to bran flakes to bulk up the protein content.
