LA Auto Show Recap

3+ years in the making, our “Farmers Market on Wheels” made its grand debut at the 2023 LA Auto Show!

The Big Reveal!

This was a BIG moment for us, especially considering that in 2020 Prosperity Market was just an idea that didn’t even have a name. We didn’t have vendors, money, or a clue, but lucky for us we had enough vision and naivete to jump in the deep end.

You might know Prosperity Market from our pop-up farmers markets, but our goal from day one has always been to put the farmers market on wheels. Without losing sight of our mobile farmers market, we hosted a series of farmers markets throughout LA and built a strong roster of 60+ black farmers, food producers, chefs, and artisans.

Community Support on A Thousand

Our community has overwhelmingly shown up for us, from contributing to our crowdfund to build our custom trailer to shopping our market both in person and online. And we could not be more proud to officially reveal our mobile farmers market to the world.

Revolutionizing Taste and Tradition

The LA Auto Show was the perfect place to debut our state of the art, solar powered & electric, mobile farmers market. We introduced our concept to thousands of people each day over the 10-day show, and the feedback was amazing.

Attendees loved our mission and concept, but we think what they loved most of all was the delicious treats from our vendors. We gave the people a taste of what they can regularly find at Prosperity Market. Fan favorites included Oat Milk from Ghost Town Oats (which people bought by the caseload), coffee beans from California Coffee Company, and a Ghanaian chili oil from Gloria’s Shito, among others. And we can’t forget Chef Brandi’s famous sea salted, white chocolate, oatmeal cookies! These cookies caused quite the ruckus! (If you haven’t tried them yet, we suggest you order them right now in our online marketplace. We have local delivery and we ship nationwide. Regular and vegan options are available. Thank us later!

Florals & Fabulous Artisan Goods

You may have come for the food, but I bet you didn’t leave without a few artisan goods in your bag. Oldest of Three has the most beautiful handcrafted jewelry, and their booth just gets more and more gorgeous with each market. Holistic Divine Innovations had herbal soaps and herbal teas on site, and readily shared their wealth of knowledge and calming sound baths. Queen Boutique had beautiful house plants available, The Farmacy Flowers had gorgeous dried floral arrangements and fun pots, and guests loved creating their own floral arrangements at Meadows Floral Bar.
