Frequently Asked Questions
Welcome to Prosperity Market where we do a lot. (One might even say, we do the most.) We have a lot of moving parts so we are sure you have some questions. You will find the answers to our most frequently asked questions below. If you don’t find what you are looking for please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
What is Prosperity Market?
Prosperity Market is a mobile farmers market featuring black farmers, food producers, and chefs! We travel throughout Los Angeles, bringing a curated farmers market experience to you. We make it easy to support local, black-owned businesses while creating food access in our communities.
We are truly “Not Your Average Farmers Market.” It’s not just a tagline. Our mobile farmers market is an actual farmers market on wheels and a food truck in one! It’s not like anything you have ever experienced before!
Do you accept SNAP/EBT?

So what exactly is this mobile farmers market?
Our mobile market is a 48ft trailer that is literally a farmers market on wheels and a food truck in one! The back of the trailer is the farmers market where you can come inside to shop. Imagine an aisle in the grocery store with fresh produce, packaged goods, grab & go snacks, and other products.
The front of the trailer is a kitchen, which will feature a rotating selection of chefs & food entrepreneurs. This is our built in, pop-up style food truck! The best part? We can drive right into your neighborhood!
As a mobile farmers market we have the ability to serve in all communities. We can bring healthy, fresh food directly into neighborhoods that don’t have grocery stores or alternatives and we can also take our vendors all over, expanding their reach and helping them scale their businesses.
When will the trailer be open for business?
This might just be the toughest question we get! Is “soon” too ambiguous? Ok, we are aiming to have our mobile market on the road toward the latter part of 2023. If you want to see us hit the road faster, there are a few ways that you can help us out:
Will you still continue your pop-up markets when the trailer is open?
Yes, we love our pop-ups! That’s when we get to spend the most time with you! We will have to slow down the frequency a bit, but that is okay because we’ll be able to consistently bring our mobile market to you.
Where will the trailer go? How will I know where to find the trailer?
How do I get my products in the trailer?
Thank you for your interest in having your products in our mobile market. Please fill out the vendor interest form on our contact page and we will review and reach out if and when we are ready to move forward. Completing the interest form does not guarantee a spot in the trailer. We can’t wait to learn about your products!
I’m a chef. How can I be featured in the mobile kitchen?
Thank you for your interest in renting our mobile kitchen. Please complete the vendor interest form and we will reach out with more information and updates on the rental process. We look forward to hearing from you!
How can I become a vendor?
Thank you for your interest. If you would like to be a Prosperity Market vendor please complete the vendor interest form and we will reach out as openings become available. Completing the interest form does not guarantee participation in the market. We do keep all applications on file.
I applied to be a vendor and I haven’t heard back yet?
Thank you for your interest in being a vendor. Completing the application does not guarantee participation in the market. We keep all applications on file and will reach out if and when we have availability.
Can I be a vendor if I’m not local to Los Angeles?
Yes, we do consider vendors outside of LA. You must be able to make it to our in-person markets or get your products to us for the virtual market and/or trailer. If you are interested, please fill out our vendor interest form.
What are Prosperity Bucks?
Prosperity Bucks are FREE MONEY that we give to community members to shop the market! They work just like regular cash, 1 Prosperity Buck = $1 USD. You can use your Prosperity Bucks to shop with any of our vendors on the day of the market. Prosperity Bucks are only good for the specified day. Details can be found on the bucks.
Vendors are reimbursed for the value of Prosperity Bucks they receive, so we can support our community and businesses. It’s a win-win!
How do I get Prosperity Bucks?
Right now, Prosperity Bucks is a pilot program and we are experimenting with the best way to get them to community members. We like to try new things, so the best way to stay updated is to sign up for our newsletter.
How can I sponsor Prosperity Bucks?
If you would like to sponsor Prosperity Bucks, please email email@example.com. Thank you for your interest!
